THE EXPERIENCE

4 tips to get ready

for your journeY

1. reserve a time

Although entrance is free, we ask that all participants reserve a ticket and a time slot. This will help us not overwhelm the production and make your experience personable and enjoyable. Each group (up to 40 people) will travel together on the journey from beginning to end. All participants age 7+ need to have a ticket reservation.

If you choose not to reserve a time, you’ll be waiting to join a group that has not yet met capacity to start the journey. To avoid this, please reserve a time in advance.

2. arrival

Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your journey. If for some reason you are not able to make it to your reserved time, please cancel your tickets to release them or text our office with your time and number of participants. Have your barcode ready to check in at the doors.

3. what to expect

You will begin your journey in Jerusalem where you will meet a guide who will be with you throughout the whole time. You will visit 7 scenes total from the last week of Jesus’ life leading up to His resurrection. The whole experience should last about 40 - 50 minutes. You will be walking/standing for majority of that time. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome as the facility has cement floors.

If you have small children, please keep in mind there are some scenes that might be loud and dim for special effects. This event is geared towards adults and children, yet we believe it is important to share the whole story of the gospel, so scenes of the crucifixion will be included.

4. here’s our heart

Easter is undoubtedly the most important day of the year for all believers. Even Christmas wouldn’t hold such significance without the death and resurrection of Christ. But when we wake up on Easter Sunday, we often struggle to grasp the significance of the day.

Journey to the Cross is about Jesus, His suffering and sacrifice, all powered by His unconditional love for His people. As you walk through each station, our prayer is that you take time to soak in God’s gift, Jesus, who took our place, so that we may be reconciled back to our Father.  You were on His heart and mind the whole time.

Whoever believes in {Jesus} shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
